My Creative Journey

Ever since I was a little girl, I was always drawn to pens and paper - I never went anywhere without them! I find tremendous joy in the quiet magic of making something by hand, and was fascinated seeing how my work improved which each piece I created. The need to constantly challenge myself creatively led me to a career in Graphic Design; one I've enjoyed for over 30 years now.

CAREER
My professional path led me through corporate and nonprofit environments, where I spent years designing invitations, logos, marketing collateral, and event branding. Over time, this work grew into leadership roles, including 15 years at McCallum Theatre, where I served as Creative Services Manager and helped shape visual storytelling, campaigns, and donor-facing materials for one of the Coachella Valley’s flagship cultural institutions.

CREATIVITY BEYOND THE 9-5
Because creativity doesn’t end when the workday does, I’ve always explored artistic expression beyond traditional office roles. Alongside my professional career, I ran a custom wedding invitation studio for five years; once I no longer had the time required to design custom wedding stationery, I shifted to online sales of digital invitation templates and party supplies on Zazzle and Etsy, and expanded into thoughtfully designed gifts featuring my hand-drawn artwork. These parallel creative paths have allowed me to experiment, grow, and stay deeply connected to the joy of making.

Today, I bring together decades of experience, artistic curiosity, and strategic thinking, partnering with mission-driven organizations while continuing to explore personal and expressive work. My creative journey is one of constant learning, evolution, and intention; I remain inspired by the endless possibilities that design and storytelling offer.
