The Coffee Shop Hand Lettering Series will take place at local coffee shops throughout the Valley.

  • 2 people minimum - so invite a friend!
  • Limited to 4 people total
  • Topic: Basic Hand Lettering, the Art of Drawing Letters
  • Workshop duration: Approximately 1.5 hrs
  • Includes: Personalized artistic guidance based on your skill level, worksheets and take-home lettering supplies
  • Children 10+ accompanied by an adult are welcome to participate 


  1. Below are a few of the many advantages to learning hand lettering in a small group setting:I will be sitting at the same table as you, so you can clearly see me drawing with the same tools and on the same type of paper as you will be as you follow along. This is one of the biggest advantages over the large group workshops where I draw on a white board with an expo marker.
  2. Each student receives more individual attention. By sitting at the same table I will have a clear view of your process and will be able to guide you in ways that will highlight your strengths and provide more support where needed as you complete your lettering project.
  3. More engagement between instructor and students, allowing me to answer questions more in depth and geared toward your individual skill level.
  4. You'll be able to try out my favorite pens & art supplies before buying your own.
  5. You will obtain the most value for your time and money; more information, more attention and personalized guidance in each session.

What to Expect

End the work weed with a dose of inspiration to uplift your spirits through the weekend. You will walk away from this event with new art supplies and a new set of skills that you can put to use immediately. With just 15 minutes of practice on daily basis, you will begin to see noticeable improvement in your skills in just one week. As you continue doing this over time, you will find your own unique lettering style, which is what will make your work stand out from the rest.

No previous lettering experience necessary to attend this class.​

​What if I purchase a ticket but can't make it to the event?

​If you can't attend the day of the event, we can reserve a seat for you at the next workshop OR we can apply your payment towards my Lettering Bootcamp e-course where you can learn hand lettering online, in the convenience of your own home, at your leisure.
