I am doubling up on color inspiration today to make up for missing last week's post. It was a busy holiday weekend which consisted of an unplanned trip to the beach. I hadn't had a chance to schedule my Monday post beforehand, and I didn't want to post it the following day. I mean, you can't post the Monday Hues on a Tuesday, that would be silly, right? Ha! One of the things I like most about going out of town is seeing new and old places with fresh eyes. I've been to Laguna Beach before, but every time I go, I am able to capture new images at different angles with both my eyes and camera. I took the picture below as we made our way from our car towards the beach. As my family crossed the street, I stayed behind digging through my purse searching for my phone, eager to snap a shot of these breathtaking, vibrant colors in the landscaping that made me stop in my tracks. I knew instantly it would be an image worth sharing with you. Once we made our way to shore, we setup our little picnic area and the kids began to play in the sand. As most kids, my daughter is fascinated by sea shells. She spent hours playing in the water, bringing handfuls of her findings for me to see. Luckily, there were plenty of adults in our group so I was able to take a little nap. There's nothing like laying at the the beach with your eyes closed, enjoying the breeze, breathing the fresh air, allowing the sounds of the waves to transport you into a total state of relaxation. But, it's back to reality now. Let's get working, gotta get that pay check so that we're able to enjoy a few more getaways this summer. Happy Monday y'all!
Xoxo, Dio
